Lindquist-relatives

Knut Fredrik  (Frederick) Lindquist

born 18 december 1880

in Karlskrona, Sweden

What I know so far:

Knut Fredrik Lindquist left Sweden and arrived in New York

( via Southampton, England)  on the vessel St Louis.

on april 1st, 1906

1917, he  lived at 137 West 183rd street in New York, NY.

He was by the time unmarried and worked as a chauffeur.

He was blonde and had blue eyes.

The  "Decleration of Intention" on the right gave me this information.

It is signed by Knut Frederick Lindquist the 5th of June, 1917.

By that time Knut Frederick had lived in New York for 11 years.

I guess that he, by that time, had desided to stay in America.. 

 He also had a son in Sweden, born four months after his father left.

The boys namn  were Kurt Håkan Fredrik and his mother gave him away. 

Kurt grew up with  fosterparents, without ever seeing his father.

Kurt was my grandfather and he died in January, 1984.

Any information about Knut Fredrik or any relative 

of his is mostly welcome.
